The unstated assumptions underlying veg_all's post seem to be 1) the majority of tailgaters are rednecks, 2) rednecks do not tailgate other rednecks, 3) rednecks are easily fooled - you don't need to be driving a 1975 Dodge pickup truck with a tool box, a gun rack, and a bunch of empty beer cans in the bed; all you need is one of those "stickets" on your 740i and the rednecks will think you're one of them. If any one of those assumptions fails to hold, the entire scheme is doomed to failure. On the contrary: they are VERY aware that you are in their way. If you want them to stop tailgating you, give them a way to get around you. Better still, leave that escape route open at all times, and most won't bother tailgating you at all. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I have been tailgated this year. And it is very likely they'll casue wannbe rednecks to tailgate you even closer becasue they'll have to get real close to read them and they'll probably stay glued to your bumper for a long time while they try to read them and figure out what they mean.
