Watching the cops from my 11th story cube window nail people in the
25mph speed trap below (2 lanes each way with a median.  Two months ago
it was 35mph)

Cop pulls over driver of white suv (I called it, it was obvious he was
going faster than 25), wrote him up, then the cop proceeded AGAIN to
make an illegal left turn to assume a new hidden position!!!

Don't know if it's the same guy, but another one made an illegal left
turn a couple of weeks ago that I witnessed.

Yeah!

And just the other day I saw a cop parked in the median of I-10, ostensibly
monitoring traffic and running radar!  And the medians are clearly marked
that they're for emergency stops only!  He should be arrested or something!

Larry, thanks for your courage in pointing this out!  Next time, make a
citizens' arrest!

You ought to grab a cheap video camera and record this traffic trap
inaction. And then send the video to one of those "on your side," type
reporters at the local TV station.

I would, but we're not allowed to bring cameras into my workplace.  Too
much proprietary stuff (auto industry).

There are no speed traps. If drivers would drive the legal limit
instead of the speed they want, they wouldn't get cited. You might as
well say bank robbers get caught in robbery traps. THINK

I see Larry jarred you awake again.

Hmmm...ever hear of "sting" operations?  That's basically what speed
traps are in relation to the speed enforcement/citation generation
routines.  BTW, I do drive the speed I want; I just don't have the
desire to turn my vehicle into a WMD.

Loco Laura Bush murdered her boyfriend (a.k.a. SADDAM) admits to being
a deadly speeder, psychopath and criminal coddler:

">  Have you ever driven a car faster than the legal speed limit?

Yes, but never deliberately.  In fact i got a speeding ticket about 5
years ago for doing 41 in a 25.  I just about kicked the cops teeth in
cause i was sure he was lying.  No way the SL on this wide open
stretch could be 25, i thought."

(snip .sig)

I'll guess the reason: too much of a rush for the $.02 contribution.

Of course there are, they are roads which are purposely underposted to
obtain revenue.

I realize this takes some logic to understand the concept, so I forgive
you for being a moron and not getting it.

Cops feel that it's permissible for them to break the law while in the
course of their duties.(IOW,anytime...)
