Watching the cops from my 11th story cube window nail people in the 25mph speed trap below (2 lanes each way with a median. Two months ago it was 35mph) Cop pulls over driver of white suv (I called it, it was obvious he was going faster than 25), wrote him up, then the cop proceeded AGAIN to make an illegal left turn to assume a new hidden position!!! And just the other day I saw a cop parked in the median of I-10, ostensibly monitoring traffic and running radar! And the medians are clearly marked that they're for emergency stops only! THINK I see Larry jarred you awake again. Hmmm...ever hear of "sting" operations? That's basically what speed traps are in relation to the speed enforcement/citation generation routines. BTW, I do drive the speed I want; I just don't have the desire to turn my vehicle into a WMD.
