Hi All,
Today, there are some new American road-photographs and -videos at
Calrog.com. First, a small handful of Pennsylvania still-shots are ready @
Pictures of Highway Shields (PHS):
http://hwy-shields.calrog.com/i-99.html (Interstate 99)
http://hwy-shields.calrog.com/us-220.html (US Federal Route 220)
http://hwy-shields.calrog.com#pa (A couple State Routes from Fulton County)
BTW, did you know that navigating through PHS' State Route collection is
really easy to do? In the leftmost column of the page, State Routes are
categorised by a descending and alphabetic order. Simply scroll down the
lefthand column of PHS, effectively shuttling between A and Z, to sample
different road photos from your favourite states!
Secondly, there's a new video couplet that represents geographically-diverse
regions of the USA:
(1) Grayson Lake, KY video. Overviews the northern shores of Grayson Lake,
via State Route 1496:

(2) Quartzsite, AZ video. Shows the southern terminus of State Route 95
and the plethora of highways you can access from there:

Enjoy!
Cheers,
Carl Rogers

KY 1496 leads to Camp Webb and not really much else. Did you continue
south along KY 7 where you could have grabbed a video shot of crossing
the dam? There are many recreational activities related to the Army
Corps of Engineers dam; the state park includes a golf course, camp
grounds, and a swimming beach - but not much else.

Obviously you do your narratives while filming so there's no easy way to
correct, but:
1.) Grayson Lake State Park is managed by the Kentucky Department of Parks.
2.) The Grayson Lake Wildlife Management Area, in and adjacent to the park, is
managed by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (not
Reserves).
3.) Grayson Lake itself is a U.S. Army Corp of Engineers project.
