Happened in Cupertino Village, San Jose, around Thanxgiving. Cupertino Village is an extremely busy Asian shopping center, where parking is very difficult to find. I was waiting in the car while my girflriend was shopping at the Japanese supermarket. By some miracle, two adjacent parking spots became available next to my car. Immediately, a white pickup pulled in diagonally, occupying both spots. A Mexican family got out, and started ambling indolently towards the supermarket. That attitude seems to come simply from driving a large truck. Because their vehicle is larger, they feel they are entitled to more space, and everyone else must accommodate their need for extra space while parking, turning, maneuvering, and (especially) accelerating. Instead of making an extra effort to impact other drivers as little as possible, the demand that everyone go out of their way to accommodate them. IOW, it's a standard MFFY attitude.
