I hated Bush before it was cool.

Much more interesting was the lingerie store owner who is filming
women who try on clothes.

He might get off with only a $500 fine? (No pun intended!) That's messed
up.

I'm wondering where the outrage is about the flaming police Impalas,
like we saw when police Crown Vics failed to resist exploding when
rear-ended at ~80 mph.

Awesome. They should do that every day.

Marking the cars with a tag, if they contain valuables and such, would be a real
time-saver for small-time thieves. Great idea. <roll eyes>

Morons all around, IMO.

The flyers were probably less of a burden on the citation budget than
cans of red spray paint to paint the recognizable red concentric rings
on the cars.

I got a flyer like that on my car once.

The only problem was there was nothing of value in my car at all, let
alone in plain sight.  I suppose some other idiot may have taken it off
of his car and put it on mine, but it's also possible cops put it there
to brag about how many people left things in plain sight.

It could be possible that the cops put flyers on the windshield to see
whether the motorists would notice, and then cite them for driving
while the view is obstructed.

Ladies and Gentlemen (and I use those words loosely), MLOM said in

An interesting theory. I wouldn't put anything past the revenue
collection agents in this nation posing as law enforcement. "To Protect
and Serve," what a joke! Who ever came up with that statement ought to
be sued for false advertising....
