DUI Charge Filed Against Honored DUI Officer
Crash Leaves 10 People Injured
POSTED: 8:18 am MST December 14, 2006
PEKIN, Ill. -- Back in 2004, Police Officer Greg Heiken got an award from
the Illinois Department of Transportation for making the most DUI arrests
in his county.
It's a very different story now, as Heiken, 37, faces a charge of driving
under the influence of alcohol in a crash that left 10 people hurt.
<...>
He is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated DUI
and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Heiken is free on bond.
If convicted, he could lose his job and spend up to three years in prison.

SWEET. While I'm not an advocate of DUI, I think an "administrator" of
such draconian policy enforcement getting imprisoned for three years
would be a very good thing. A cop in the joint?!? YES!!!! He'll
probably get about as much action as "Speeders And Drunk Drivers Are
Murderers" gets when it visits the bath houses!!!
