They say that fashion trends are somewhat circular, where things that
went out of fashion many years ago eventually come back into fashion
if you wait long enough. Well, here's one that has been out of fashion
for 100 years or so.

Do you remember what cars looked like when they first came out, and
their had huge WAGON wheels on them? Yesterday I saw an H2 with
ENORMOUS BLING BLING spoked wheels on it - these wheels were so large
in diameter, they made the Hummer look like a big, fugly Model T. Or
maybe a caricature of a Model T.

Perhaps this was his inspiration:

Hmm, with the release of several 'retro' vehicles over the past decade
(PT Cruiser; Thunderbird; Chevy SSR; no to mention the New Beetle and
the BMW/Mini Cooper), I wonder if they are ever going to go real retro
and redo the Model A (the model T may be impossible to get aerodymanic
enough - the Model A alone will be tough).  Now a New Style Model A,
that would be worth looking into!
Alas, the Plymouth Prowler, which kinda went in that direction (albiet
more torward a Cord/Auburn styling, though), did not sell so well.

Well, there's no accounting for taste, Scott. Like the luser I saw last
night driving a Grand Marquis on 26's. Talk about retarded....
