I Experienced Road Rage Today

Four lane road (two in each direction). Posted speed limit: 65 MPH.
I'm in the right lane behind a green Exploder. Pacing the Exploder in
the left lane is a newer RSX. These two assclowns pull slowly away
from the light and Slotherate up to about 60 MPH, all the while
keeping station with each other.

About a mile up the road, there is a lane closure (with no signed
speed reduction). I close up the gap between me and the Exploder,
hoping to encourage the RSX to speed the f.ck up and pull in front of
the Exploder. Of course, the RSX slows down slightly and forces her
way in between me and the Exploder... AND THEN CONTINUES TO SLOW DOWN!
I was determined not to allow myself to be trapped behind this Sloth
c.nt once the lane closure ended, So I whipped around the RSX and
merged into the HUGE gap in front of her car (which placed me once
more behind the Exploder) in plenty of time to avoid the cones.

The lane closure was brief, and after it ended I passed the Exploder
and escaped the Phalanx of Sloth. So what do you suppose happens next?
Yes, the Sloth Exploder, who was content to drive at 5 MPH below the
speed limit as long as everyone else was behind him, now decides to
speed up! As he started catching up I increased my speed, 5 MPH at a
time, just to see how fast he would go. By the time we reached the
next light, we were both going ~75 MPH. Since I was still ahead, I
sailed through the stale yellow light; the Exploder didn't even slow
down and ran the red.

Amazing how the simple act of passing can transform a meek, ostensibly
law-abiding Sloth can turn into raging scofflaw.

I hate speediots - especially Carl Troller.

At least they can rationalize 'losing' to a vette, when they 'lose' to a
bicycle they really blow a gasket.

Much better they chase after you than the way I usually see it. A huge rush
to pass everyone, cutting people off, running lights whatever. Once in
'front' of everyone, slowing such that they are now hindering the flow.

One recent such driver of a minivan or some SUV that looked more like a
minivan is catching up to me rapidly as I approach a red signal. He is in
the left lane, I am in the right and am coasting. There is already a
vehicle on the sensor in my lane as well as the left so I am trying to time
light and keep my speed up. This tard passes by me, cuts in front of me and
nails the brakes. Light turns green, tard doesn't accelerate. (yes I saw
that coming too) of course he is taking the same on ramp as me. Tard
decides merging at 35mph is good enough. (never mind he did about 50 in 35
to get ahead of me in the first place) He of course is satisified with
the right lane and immediately pushes way into the middle lane. He is
apparently baffled when I indicate I find he is driving like an a.s when I
finally pass him.

It all fits the same pattern of these brain dead people.  They drive 5
under when there is no passing lane and hold everyone up.  Then as
soon as a passing zone looms on the horizon they start accelerating.
Usually by the time they get to the passing lane they are already at
or above the speed limit and will typically run as much as 10 over to
try and keep anyone from passing them.  And as sure as the Sun sets in
the west, when the passing lane ends they drop back to 5 under.
Running people like this off the road should not only be legal, it
should be encouraged.

Regarding your last comment...I wouldn't risk my vehicle doing that.
It does make for a good argument for dual-mounted Ma Deuce ready with
50-cal ammo.
