Cop logic never ceases to astound me. "The Firebird's speed and
failure to stop [...] caused the collision." So I guess if he had
blown through the stop sign but not exceeded the posted speed limit
the crash would not have occurred?

Un-f.cking-believable!!

Teen killed in South Side crash identified

Police on Monday identified the boy who was killed Sunday in a South
Side car wreck as 15-year-old Olando Trujillo.
Trujillo died in a two-car collision at the intersection of East 28th
Street and South Jones Boulevard, near East 22nd Street and South
Alvernon Way, said Officer Dallas Wilson, a Tucson Police Department
spokesman.
Trujillo was a passenger in a 1996 Pontiac Firebird traveling west on
28th Street when its driver ran a stop sign at Jones Boulevard and
struck a northbound 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix.
The Firebird rolled and landed in the front yard of a home, fatally
injuring Trujillo. The driver of the Firebird suffered minor injuries,
and a third passenger in the car was seriously injured. Both were in
the hospital Monday, and their names were not available for release,
Wilson said.
The only occupant of the Grand Prix was not injured in the collision.
The Firebird's speed and failure to stop at the intersection caused
the collision, Wilson said. No citations have been issued and the
investigation is ongoing.

It sounds a lot like Aunt Judy's constant rant about the Laura incident
years ago.  Technically, a speed at the stop sign should be at zero
prior to proceeding, so 0.5 mph in that case would be speeding.

Another mexican driver kills another innocent person. And they don't
see anything wrong with it.!!!  We need to throw all muds out of the

Scheiskopf, read the article.  The driver was NOT identified, thus not
confirmed as Mexican.  He could have been a redneck from your neck of
the woods, for all anyone can know from the article.  The "mud" you are
bitching about is the deceased passenger.

Whatever he is, he's going down for murder:

Driver in weekend fatal wreck jailed for 2nd degree murder
Arizona Daily Star
Tucson, Arizona | Published: 01.17.2007

The driver in a fatal weekend vehicle rollover was arrested Tuesday
night on suspicion of second degree murder, police said.
Roy Fabian Tena, 20, was driving a 1996 Pontiac Firebird westbound on
East 28th Street Sunday night when he ran a stop sign at South Jones
Boulevard and collided with a northbound 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix, said
Officer Dallas Wilson, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
Tena suffered minor injuries in the collision, but a passenger,
15-year-old Olando Trujillo, was killed. A third passenger in the
Firebird suffered serious injuries in the collision.
The only occupant in the Grand Prix was not injured.
Tucson police arrested Tena after his release from a Tucson hospital,
Wilson said.
The vehicle's speed and Tena's failure to stop at the intersection
south of Reid Park caused the accident, he said.
He was booked into Pima County jail on suspicion of second degree
murder, aggravated assault and criminal damage.

Well that fits a few of Aunt Judy's criteria of the crime, including
the approximate age match to the First Lady who AJ loves to smoke like
a cheap cigar.  "Beaner" factor does not appear to apply.
