I really enjoy this newsgroup.  I found it shortly after I started
driving 180 miles per day.  The people here that post regularly, I
have become to know them - really know them.  It is great.  I have
found that I enjoy the posts from the people that obviously just post
to get a rise out of people.  It is such great fun.  I could go into
great detail, but I won't because I'll forget the reason for my post.

I have noticed that the FWD Vs. RWD issue comes up quite a bit.  If
someone comes into this newsgroup and doesn't invest the time to
learn, I am afraid they might come away misinformed!  It is fun to
joke around and claim America is a criminal-coddling nation, but the
FWD Vs. RWD joke needs to stop.  This is a driving newsgroup.
Driving!  Driving by drivers for drivers.  We don't really want to
keep spreading bad advice, do we?

A driver knows that RWD is superior to FWD.  End of story.  I just
hope that if someone comes to this newsgroup, they will see my post
and find the truth.

You know who you are.  Those of you that like to get a rise out of
people by saying FWD is superior.  Please stop.  It simply isn't
true.  It really isn't even funny. I am sure you guys can come up with
something to use as the 'rise-getter'.  If you have trouble coming up
with something, let me know.  We can work together and we can find
another running joke that you can use.  O.K.?

RWD is better.

Thank you.

Your friend,

Bob,

we could always start another thread on:

1) ABS - it's always better for everybody!
2) Speed limits - it's safer to drive 55 because the government knows
best, even though everyone else is doing 80
3) Red light cameras - if you get caught by one you must be a baby killer
4) My (insert model of car here) is the bestest car EVAR and if you
don't like it you're a moran
5) I don't understand why people keep bashing (GM, Ford, Chrysler) their
products are just as good as anyone else's!
6) Off topic political BS where the parties involved have no common
ground whatsoever (pick any topic)

oh, wait, if you strip out the porn spam, that's most of the threads
going on right now...

It all depends on how and where you want to drive.

It's like asking, "Which is a better color, orange or green ?"
