Another "it's about the revenue" thread

Of course, there are certain posters here who would give city police
officers the benefit of the doubt because the force and individual
officers "believe" it's really about safety ...

I look at it as police officers, like soldiers, do what they're
ordered to do.  I see a lot of this going on in my area, except it's
"truck enforcement".  Same traps, setup in the same areas, all the
time.

I have to ask myself if it's REALLY all about safety, and I don't
believe it is, much as I'd like to think my state is beyond that sort
of pettiness.

revenue goes a long way towards influencing that "belief".
Next would be how their political Police chief who hires&fires them feels
about it.
