100% agreement so far.

Not much of a deterrent, is it? It only breaks the thief's arms AFTER
he steals your car and tries to drive it away. And if he tows it away,
it won't have any effect at all.
Not to mention the fact that our blame-the-victim,
protect-the-criminal's-rights society will sue the pants off of any
car owner who actually installs something that harms even one hair on
a thief's head.
Personally, I like the Trunk Monkey concept better.

Things were so much simpler a half-century ago when an ignition cut-
off switch and tack-welding razorblades to fender skirts was the most
common anti-theft measures.
