An automated way of allowing cars to drive much closer to each other
in heavy moving traffic, so-called platooning, could cut congestion,
save fuel and cut greenhouse gas emissions, according to research
published today in Inderscience's International Journal of the
Environment and Pollution

Good idea. What happens when a component in the system fails?

And if any of that system is running windoze, it could give the term
"blue screen of death," a new meaning.

Well, I forgot that one, but, yup.

<sarcasm>Thanks for reminding me; I just learned there's more travel
in my future. Since it will all be to O-ville, though, I think I'll be
driving instead of flying. Between the ineptitude of the TSA and the
airlines, and how much I liked Orlando's airport, the drive might be
worth the reduction in headaches.
