But I understand the propensity to extrapolate to the ridiculous when your argument is ridiculous to begin with. Like your "magic hat" argument; a bicycle helmet is intended to protect against a semi running over you and crushing your chest, but won't, and so is worthless, and everyone who advocates for wearing a helmet is an idiot. Considering that a helmet is designed to protect only from a six foot fall, someone taller than six feet has already exceeded the capacity of the helmet without the impact of a collision. Par for the course. The "event" that set off my question regarding using gps tracking to disable mobile devices was due to such an incident. I wrote about that in another post, but not the one containing the stupid question. Stupid girl sat through a light cycle texting. She was texting when the light when green, and she was still going after it went back to red. Fortunately at the time we were the only traffic at the time, but this is a route traveled by emergency service vehicles. SignatureWe're all here because we're not all there. Slowing down for a junction maybe ? There might have been busy traffic ahead. In any case that white car was doing about the same speed as the other traffic shown. > Staged accident, maybe?
