Who cares?

The rate at which my pay rate grows far and away exceeds the
inflationary rate.

It must suck to be such a loser.

I have two replies, because sometimes you're just too easy:

Get one at a junk yard.  Just be sure not to park your piece of sh.t
too close to the entrance, otherwise it may be turned to scrap.

---- or ----

I hear it's a conspiracy between Bush and thermostat makers.

David Icke thinks it's a conspiracy between Bush and the United
Brotherhood of Junkyard Owners.

Don't tell me you're actually trying to MAINTAIN your POS.

I'm tired of driving even in the summer with the heater on.

Pussy.  I thought it couldn't be too hot?

Anyway, if your thermostat is stuck closed, blowing air across the
heater core isn't gonna do a damn thing.

I thought point out it's hypocrisy was my duty. :-)

I witnessed this behavior years ago when I was hanging around with
stoners and drunks (you know, the type that typically drives beaters).
Whenever they would have problems with the thermostats in their
beaters, they would ride around with the heater on to provide extra
cooling for the system.

The only way I would consider it if it were late at night, and would
be too inconvenient to repair immediately.

BTW, you could always just remove it altogether.  Your car probably
wouldn't warm up very well on a 10F degree day, but who needs a
heater?

Turn white, get a job, and you won't have that problem.

Unfortunately for our local nutjob, a thermostat is an item you can't
get away with having stuck closed.
