I am going to court to try to get a 3 year ban I got for dd shortened.
I have completed just over 2 years of it. Has anyone else tried this
and been successful?
Thanks

How many DUIs have you had and in what time period?

I know a couple people who have "appealed to the DMV" and gotten
"Cinderella", or "work" licenses issued valid for 12 hours of the
day. I don't know of anyone who has gotten a normal license back
ahead of schedule, however. Your state may be a factor.

Wait a year, and you should be OK.

Now I've never had a DUI, so I'm not positive about this, but don't
first-time offenders get shorter suspensions, like a few months to a
year? Don;t only the repeat offenders get the 3-year stints?
Assuming that you are a repeat offender, I have ZERO interest in
helping you get back on the road any sooner. Maybe the longer you
remain unlicensed, the longer it will be before recidivism kicks in
and you start driving under the influence again.
