Carl Rogers - 09 Feb 2008 21:39 GMT Shalom Viatologists,
The Worldwide Highway Library, a Calrog.com component, proudly re-introduces its photographs of Israeli National Highways:
http://worldwide-hwys.calrog.com Photographs > Middle East > מדינת ישראל
Tel Aviv, Haifa and many points between are covered in the library listed above. Many thanks to the Peris for providing these excellent photographs. Israeli's western areas, i.e., the ones surrounding the Mediterranean shore, offer stunning views for an otherwise desert climate. At the same time, Israel is an interesting mixing pot of Arabic and Hebrew cuisines. These cuisines overlap Arabic and Hebrew tastes, and in doing so, can create amicable intermingling between two incredible groups of people w/ equally impressive histories.
As the gold standard in worldwide road photography, the WHL provides free glimpses into eighteen countries worldwide. Our brand new interface, currently under construction, provides glimpses of photographs from the Americas and the Middle East. Stay tuned for our re-integration of road photos from Asia and Europe! In the meantime, you may find unrestricted access to our photographs at the deprecated WHL Repository: http://worldwide-hwys.calrog.com/repository.html .
The WHL is simply the gold standard in international road photography; there's NO comparison!!! We thank you for your visits; our hope is that your each visit furthers your ambitions to travel abroad and well.
Cheers,

"Amicable"? Have you never heard of the Gaza Strip? The Golan Heights? Hezbollah? Looks like BowelRod slept during history class.

"Tel Aviv, Haifa and many points between are covered in the library listed above."
He's got one or two signs from a half dozen roads, with NOTHING interesting and mostly poor quality (surprise, surprise!!!). I think I've taken more pictures of highway signs in Israel than that, and I don't do so routinely. I've been there 15+/- times for usually 2 weeks or so, and have been everywhere from Metulla, Tzfat, Haifa, Tiberius, and Bet Shean in the north to Eilat in the South, with many places in between.

I think No surprise at all. Thinking of bad, those WHL360 things of his define the word, "bad."
