The truck was too big, but the driver kept going despite alarms. It happened Tuesday just after 4 p.m. on the westbound side. In a video released by the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority Thursday, the flatbed truck carrying a crane is seen heading into the Ted Williams Tunnel. But someone here raised an interesting point about (at least the illegals) driving, in that if they realize there's a chance of deportation, it's plausible they'll drive extra cautiously. Too bad we can't deport "native" americans for screwing up when they drive. I found the notation that this guy was not the first overheight truck to enter the tunnels interesting as was the girl's comments about the speeding and LLBing by the trucks.
