The Phoenix cops investigated, but to my knowledge no charges were filed. Possibly because the "evidence" was not the actual videotape, but was a video posted on youtube, IIRC. Wait..... We agree??? That sound you heard was me choking on my white wine..... Some months ago the Phoenix or Scottsdale police were investigating some fine folks who videotaped themselves driving over 200 mph (not kph) on a local freeway at 2AM. I don't think they got arrested, no doubt for the difficulty of proof, etc. However, it didn't do much to dampen the enthusiasm for speed cameras. |
