mere milliseconds from disaster.  Watch far right lane. Note that he
locks up his brakes for about one second.

I also noticed his speed through the intersection...odds are over the
SL.  Could be a potential S&DDAM target.  :)

Hint: red light means SL of zero for a few seconds.

Also..notice the pedestrians stopping to watch the fool.

Actually, it appears to be the guy on the cross street who locks 'em
up and avoids the collision.

He might be also but the violator lays down a smoking patch.

Agreed.  I watched it a few times over freeze-framing as good as I
could with youtube, and both vehicles brake.  The crossing SUV braking
keeps the SUV (explorer?  minivan?  not exactly high-def) from T-
Boning the offender, and the offenders braking appears to keep him
from T-Boning the white sedan.  Damn close...  I'd love to see an
overhead view.

More interesting I thought was that he misses no more than a half
beat, then continues, weaving around traffic.

Just goes to show ya, RLR'ers are among the best of drivers.

Did you expect him to pull over for a cigarette or start driving
legally after that?  They obviously had somewhere to be, ASAP!

I saw a different version where the action is repeated in slo-mo, and
you can see both the offender's tire smoke as well as the nose-dive of
the guy on the cross street pretty clearly.

Calls just don't get any closer than that.
