Hi Viatologists,
Some earth is getting moved in Hayward, Calif., just a 15 minute drive
south of Oakland!
http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist4/i880/92_880/
The interchange, a traditional cloverleaf, is getting modified for a
more direct "south to east" connector and "north to west" connector.
For photographs and videos of the two highways, look no further than
the Worldwide Highway Library:

The Worldwide Highway Library is the premier resource for roadside
captures. Spanning three continents, our collection can get you on
the go while the competition scrambles and creates flamewars since
they cannot compete. :)
Cheers,

Carl... who's competing with you? It's not like some Yahoo vs. Google
thing, here. Is there even one person other than you with a roadgeek
site who's trying to make money off it beyond perhaps paying their
hosting bill?
It's a HOBBY, Carl. For everyone here with the exception of a few folks
who are actually in the transportation business... and you.
In fact, Carl, if you were actually in competition with anyone... rather
than being a whiny defensive bitch everytime someone slags one of your
videos, you'd pay attention to the criticism and *improve* them so as to
provide a better product. So either you know damn well you're not
competing with anyone for anything and you're just being a narcissistic
twit, or you're sincere, but a REALLY BAD businessman. One of those two
things is correctable.

The unfortunate thing is he's not going to read one word of that.

Or if he does read the post, he won't pay attention to one word of it. Many
of us have told Carl this in the past, much to no luck.

Sure he will. He's trying to stalk me now, he can't afford to ignore
me. I might give him a clue.

Please provide proof that -anyone- is competing?

Carl, as someone who lurks in this newsgroup I've been watching the
notes directed at you, the sarcasm, the mocking and the criticism
(both legitimate and petty).
But I have to say your contention that there are people competing with
your web site is not substantiated. You've been told this dozens of
times and, yet, you keep saying that there is competition. Why?
If you were truly honest with yourself you would realize that much of
the hostility that is directed towards you is brought on by you
yourself.

Yr astute. CalBog isn't. That's been long proven.

Why not get some pictures of the road works in progress? That might be
useful. A coupla 30 second steamers of the roads involved are meaningless
in this context. It shows nothing of what you're talking about.
