Carbon dioxide is NOT generated by plants but absorbed by them in
photosynthesis. The byproduct is oxygen.
Now, if the idiots in the legislature can't adequately manage the budget
they have, what do we really think is going to happen with the money from
these additional taxes - oops - they said "fees."

Plants also *produce* CO2 through their metabolism and respiration.

When I see all the buses rolling around with five or six passengers, I'm not
entirely convinced that more of them will save the planet.
