Hi Viatologists,

As of 13-Apr-2008, the Worldwide Highway Library provides geographic
coordinates for 1.97% of its 2,186 photographs.  Through retroactive action,
the 'Operation Coordinates' program will increase the per centage of
photographs containing coordinates over time.

Cheers,

Crap, now he's going to post every time he adds coordinates to an old
photo. Just like when he "re-catalogued" everything. Damn it...

You know, the last time I accomplished 1.97% of a task, nobody even noticed.

The time before that my boss told me I was a lazy sack of sh.t and that
I'd better have some substantial progress to show by Monday morning.

This is just the beginning.

Once he reaches 100%, then he'll go back and correct all the errors he
made the first time through. And, of course, there'll be a post for
every decipercentage point of completion for "Operation FixMyFuckUps."

It's come up before-just goes to show that CalBog's fail is such that
us regular folks who wear tennis shoes or an occasional python boot
have a hard time believing it's real, and hope it's rilly just an
epic  troll.

Given the vastness of it, and the consistency of behaviour, I'm not
inclined to buy the epic troll theory.

Aunt Judy doesn't have a website, though; and has pretty much proved
itself to be a garden variety usenet nutter, and as you've noted with
the MI5 guy, that tends to be a recurring phenomenon.

The thought has occurred to me, and if all I had about Carl were his
Usenet posting, I would give a lot of credibility to that argument.
But we have his Myspace page and his videos, which are all socially
awkward. Examining the COMPLETE facts, the conclusion is obvious (to
me, anyways): Carl is exactly who he represents himself to be.

However, that doesn't mean he isn't without ingenuity. I think his
background searches of various people on MTR (myself included)
intentionally included mistakes, so people would talk about them.
That's just my opinion though, feel free to disagree.

I doubt it.  See, I used a lookup service to try and background-check
myself online after he screwed up trying to find me, just for kicks;
I... don't seem to exist.   So I looked up some other people connected
to me; I was, to my complete and utter surprise, also not listed as a
"known" or "possible" point of contact for my father* or my mother or
either of my ex-wives or for anyone else who's ever shared my address.

Anyway, point is: that means he wasn't just playing a game; he honestly
thought (and probably still thinks) he tracked me down.

* - which, had I been, should have been a clear indication to him he had
the wrong guy.

for what ever nefarious reason that they need attention? Like that

Coordinate conversions are exactly how he got into trouble the last
time he tried this:

Coordinates are rough approximations.  I suppose one can be pedantic,
and not see the forest for the trees.  Certainly, I wouldn't expect
any less from you.

At the end of the day, you really need to learn when to "let go"; your
behaviour is quite childish.  I doubt that you care, however, since
you go far lengths to mask your identity and "time-bomb" your Usenet
contributions. ;)
