I am sitting in a hotel in Bowling green KY. My buddy is in the
Hospital and my vette is totaled! 20 miles outside Bowling green, on
the way to the C5/C6 bash an 18 wheeler changed lanes into me and I
had NO where to go. A concrete wall on my right, the truck came over
on me hitting me on my left rear corner, then turned me sidewways and
pushed me hundreds of yards down the freeway at over 60mph. He never
saw me, and did not know I was there until another trucker called him
over the CB and told him to STOP! You are pushing a vette down the
highway! My buddy is ok, I am alive, but I swear...I thought I was
going to die! Anyway, I rented a car and will be going back to Myrtle
Beach without a vette. The trucker told the trooper, it was his fault,
but KY is a "no fault insurance state" meaning your insurance fixes
your car, no matter who is at fault! BS!!!! I say. I am going to bed
now, I am sore and my custom 05 C6 is GONE!!!!

And yet all these sloths just love to spend forever and half next to
these trucks. I spend as little time near them as possible.

Another thing... these truckers pay a 100 grand or more for these rigs
and they're too f.cking cheap to put an camera system that might add a
few hundred to the price tag to give them complete visibility. Of course
they don't even use the mirrors they have as it is. They drive the
biggest things on the road and just don't give a sh.t.

Somebody must've been failing to pass properly.  This is a reason why I
use the horn and pass quickly when approaching a CLB or an LLB,
especially when it is a tractor-trailer driver.  I will not drive next
to or pass a tractor-trailer if the shoulder is closed, and I will block
attempts by truck drivers to micropass me in that situation.

How can you not notice that you're pushing a car sideways with the front
of the truck?  There should be a noticeable decrease in speed and an
increase in noise inside the truck.
