I've driven one of these at an indicated 115 mph.

Challenging but loads of fun !

And the engine size ...... .. ..  go on guess !

Don't be misled by the 'turbo' on the pic.  The one I was driving was only
normally aspirated but I couldn't find a better pic quickly. The turbo would
probably have done 120-125.

You're not a million miles away though. See if you can get warmer.

You're a psychopath. How many kids do you run over each week with your
deadly criminal speeding.  Get help please.

In 34 years driving I have not had as much as ONE penalty point on my driving
licence. I have never been prosecuted for a driving offence. I have not even
had as much as a speeding ticket.

I also have TWELVE years 'no claims bonus' on my insurance. That makes
insuring a VERY SAFE but high insurance group Saab Turbo very affordable.

There are no speed limits on European highways, genius.  He can drive
it as fast as he wants.

I doubt it, a more correct statement would be that there are no speed
limits on *SOME* European highways, which is a 100% true statement
(German Autobahnen)

Not to mention the Isle of Man outside town centres (30 mph) on ALL the
roads there ! The police will take a dim view of totally abusing this
freedom in a genuinely dangerous way of course.

I don't think that SADDAM has ever driven in a nation / state where
the drivers must pass a REAL driving test before getting a licence.

I considered myself a fair, but well above agerage driver, in
California, but found I was a fair, but well below average driver, in
GB.

Your honesty does you proud but isn't SADDAM inherently anti any reasonable
standard of driver education ?

What was your experience of the differences in the UK ?

Much harder driving test (I've had in two states) and much more
practical laws (few stop signs - "Give Way" instead. ) in UK.

"if there is another road user wopuld copuld benefit from the
information" regardng indicating urns, suggesting that driver actually
look at what is happening in the area.

More roundabouts. Were my commute peppered with lights instead of
roundabouts, it would teke about twice as long. (West side of Coventry
to five-waays in Birmingham - 18 miles.)

Roundabouts instead of cloverleafs at M-way junctions, If you err, you
can correct almost in seconds.

MOTs after 3 years (Yes, I hate them too.
I had a brake cylinder fail on the rolling-road! How's that for luck.
As I used my car for business, my bos allowed me to do the MOT on work
hours.

Kerb colours showing parking restrictions.

Willinghness of other drivers to cooperate so all cars get to where
they are going sooner.

Rear fog lights (which I wish turned off when ignitions went off and
stayed there until re-activated again.)

Able to park on "wrong side" when safe. Traffic on my street was one
lane when cars were parked both sides.

I will also add the good public trransit so fewer cars need be on the
roads.

More people on M-cycles so they learn to drive well before even
getting in a car.   (End of start)

Good ol' hot rod homebrew ingenuity plus some completely obsolete
mechanicals = 700+ reliable HP out of 4.9 liters...

But where's the challenge ? A big lump like that makes it all too easy. I couldn't see a top speed btw.
Surely not just 138 mph ?

Oh btw - the pic of the car I showed was the turbo model. The one I got 115 out of was only the normally
aspirated version.

Go on, take a guess at its engine displacement, and no cheating either !        ;~)
