101-Year-Old Woman Gets Driver's License Renewed Until 2011

"Lillian Cox, 101, said she has been driving since 1915 and continues to
travel around Tallahassee in her 1984 sedan."

<...>

"Cox has been invited to the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno.""

Do the math... she's been driving since she was EIGHT years old.

Only in Florida, where the AARP has the state government wrapped
around its Geritol bottle. Florida is also the place which makes
"Large Print Edition" road signs and pavement markings so that the
blind old coots can continue to drive even farther past their
expiration dates.

I went to Florida (Disney World) once in 1976 and I will NEVER go
there again; the roads there just aren't safe.
