New Videos: IH90, IH481 and IH81 in central New York

Recently added videos of the Central New York tour:

First is IH90 - The New York State Thruway - from exit 30 in Herkimer,
NY through Utica, NY - I had debated whether or not to use this one as
it covers such a short ride on the Thruway that the video might seem a
bit Calrog-esque as it presents so little of the road, but I figured
what the hell and used it anyway:

Next is IH481 Southbound from the northern terminus to the southern
terminus:

terminus of IH481 onto IH81 south to US 20:

Fourth video was definitely more my speed music-wise.

One of these days I'll have to pick your brains on doing highway vids.
Just as soon as I get the essentials... like a camcorder... and a
running car...

Glad you enjoyed the rides. I'll have two or three more CNY videos
this week, then will be taking a month or more hiatus from the videos.
Its just too hot down here to be driving around if not needed.

My tentative plans for the fall include some of the freeways in
J-ville (the FL202/FL9A(IH295) interchange is scheduled to be
completed in a few months, so there is something there to shoot). I
also want to get some footage of Savannah and I'll probablly have a
road trip somewhere in there also.

I might try re-capturing the NY173/92 footage as mpeg4 instead od
dv-avi (that was the one giving me the problems) and post them to
blip.tv. I noted that the footage that I captured as mpeg4 (the IH81
and IH481 shows) had blue sky as opposed to white.

BTW, how is the recovery comming?

Your intro and closing are about 5-10 seconds longer than needed,
IMO. Otherwise, the I-81 video was good.
