I've had a couple of rocks hit my windshield and they left small
cracks. Small star but its been that way for almost a year and it
hasn't increased in size that I can tell. Should I get these fixed or
is leaving them ok.

I fix them. I buy a kit from an autoparts house, and fix them myself.
Simple, and relatively effective. If you let them go, they can run.
You may eventually have to replace the windshield, but if you can
stop it now for a few bucks, why not?

Get them fixed. Eventually they will run if deep enough.
Any glass place can fix them for about $60 using a resin-based repair. It's
almost completely invisible and very effective.
We had this repair done to a deep chip in the (original) windshield of our
Tercel. It's been fine now through two winters. You have to know exactly
where and how to look for the repaired spot, otherwise you'd never notice
it.
