I have a strange issue with my z28, i usually have to try and start my
car twice before it starts, and it always starts on the second try. but
i found a way around it, i have to turn my ignition to A/C and off
again then try to crank it up and it always start that way, my guess is
something electrical or something with my fuel but when the car is on
there is no sign of fuel pump failure any idea what's causing this?

Perhaps the fuel pressure is bleeding off while the engine is not running
and leaving only air in the fuel lines. Then, when you turn the ignition to
crank,  the pump runs, but it takes a few seconds before the fuel rail is
back up to pressure so it starts on the second try. This might be due to a
leaking fuel injector, fuel pump check valve, leaking pressure regulator, or
maybe even just a leak somewhere in the fuel lines. You may not have the
necessary fuel system pressure test equipment to test it, but it would be
pretty easy for most any repair shop to verify weather or not this is the
problem.

thank you for your response, I will go check that out, it dose take a
while for the fuel to reach my engine I can actually hear it going, it
happened after I got my spark plugs replaced so I think it could
possible be the check valve, that's again for your expertise

If you were truly my "Creator" as your name suggests, you would not need to
ask that question.

Since you think your name is so clever, I'll allow you to wallow in your
"cleverness."
