84 Pontiac - I've been replacing windshield washer pumps for 20 years on this thing. The impellers seem to be the main
culprit. Tried both GM and aftermarket brands - they all seem to be consistently short lived.

Any recommendatiosn for a brand that seems to last?

Or how about a simple 'generic' external one with a good reputation that I could wire up to the firewall.

Thanks

Either you are having real bad luck or something special is going on
with yours. Is there any possibility that they are getting frozen up in
winter?
PS. You could rig up an old foot pump like cars had before electric
pumps were used.
