2001 S10 Blazer 4x4 - Front End Shudder

S10 4wd EXPERTS: After breifly using my 2001 Blazer (70,000 miles) in
4wd mode, the Front end started lightly shuddering at very low speed
<=5mph ONLY when turning right or left. Shuddering is similar, (but
much, much lighter) to turning in 4wd on hard dirt road.  The check
engine light is not on.  I put the Blazer on 4 jack stands and ran it
in 3rd & OD in 2wd.  All four tires turned like in 4wd mode.  I then
chocked the front tires and ran in 2wd, to verify that it wasn't stuck
in 4wd mode.  Everything seemed OK with front tires chocked & not
turning.  Then removed front chocks and front tires still turn in 2wd
mode.  Is this normal ? or is 4wd still partially engaged ??  Please
help.

Try posting it here, see if they are any help. Sounds like you have a
draggy autohub or transfer case, but not sure, not really good with
4x4's. My C30 wrecker used to do something similar after using 4 low
for the first time in while...then I'd run it in 4 high for some
distance to get the parts all splashed and warmed up, put it back in 2
and it'd be fine....
