clio will not start

i have been away for a long weekend,
my renault clio 1952 prestige was left on the drive my nieghbout rang me
to say that my lights were flashing all the time.when i got back to my car
,the battery was flat.I charged the battery
but the engine will not turn over,its as iff the immobiliser will not let
start,also the ignition key is stuck in the ignition,
Has anyone out there ever had this happen, or any ideas,thatmay help. dont
laughto much. colin

Have you lock and unlock the car for a reinitializing of the immobilizer?
