I have a 88 Chevy Suburban. The burb itself starts up just fine,
however, when i start to drive away it feels as though the is someone
tugging n the rear end of the burb. If i drive it around awhile, park
it and then drive again the right wheel tire will not move while the
other spins out. If i throw it in reverse and moves just fine.
One more thing, if i drive around for a while the suburban starts
making a knocking sounds....it appears to be coming from right in the
middle of the "bitch" seat floor board.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks,

How long ago were rear brakes worked on? First impression is parking
brake system binding, and it can go a lot of ways from there.
You state that one wheel locks, and if you reverse, it frees up. Start
with pulling the rear drums and looking at the shoes, and the drums..

Either the parking brake or one of the drums isn't releasing.
