1998 Mustang driving fine, anti-theft light flashing. Parked car in
garage. Came back out to drive and one click and wouldn't start. Put in
new battery, still one click and wouldn't start. Lights will come on,
horn will honk, then when try to start it everything goes off and
nothing. Tried key in door to unlock and disarm anti-theft, also UNLOCK
on remote. Nothing. HELP? Any clues?

Sounds like dirty battery cables.

Sounds like corroded battery cables, connections or is perhaps a loose or
bad connection somewhere! check both the positive and negative cables for
stiffness or cracking Check for loose or corroded connections. Also can
check by cranking the engine. Bad cable(s) would be hot! or could be that
someone tried to steal your car and while doing so inadvertently shorted
some wires together causing your battery drainage issues.
