Hi,

Does any one have theorytical explanation and design explanation of
door latch. if some one have please provide it to me as i am working on
this subject . If some one have any Question regarding functional
performance of door latch feel free to write .

Theory: If you close a door and it has a latch, the latch should keep it closed.

A latch locks and/or opens  a swinging or opening door of any sort.  In
an automobile, various rods and levers operate the door latch.  So why
ask the question?  simple observation will tell you.
