I'm experiencing problems when trying to fill my vehicle with gas. It
appears that something is blocking or restricting the gas flow. I can
only manage to squeeze 2 to 3 cents worth of gas at a time before the
pump shuts off (as it does when the tank is full...but this is not the
case).
Can anyone offer assistance?

Don't squeeze so hard.

I have the same problem in my 1983 volvo. Turns out the pipe goes on a
windy path to the tank which can trigger the automatic shutoff in the
pump. I get around the problem by not inserting the nozzle 100% of the
way, instead only about 2/3. This creates a better angle for fuel flow
and the car fills as expected. Hope this helps

Sounds most likely an air-block. Like Shannon states, try to not insert
the nozzle fully into the fill pipe, that should allow airflow, and
thus, gas flow. But, watch what you are doing, as the gas could fill up
the tank and start spilling out before the nozzle's shutoff valve can
react.
Since there is no info. on make/model/year to help lead to other
answers, airblock is the likely culprit.
