I'm a freelance writer doing research on auto repair fraud and am
searching for your personal stories. You can email the stories to me
directly: lawrenceelding at yahoo dot com
The only information I need is:
the make, model, and year of your car,
the type of problem,
the total cost,
and a few words on your experience.
I appreciate any help you can offer.

One of the best fraud stories I know of is the freelance writer or
television consumer reporter who is SO convinced that the automotive
aftermarket is one fraud after another that he tried to trap innocent
technicians by tricking up something such as an out-of-adjustment that
doesn't normally go out of adjustment, or a "blown" fuse that doesn't
normally blow.....
.....or the stories that purport that someone is trying to sell an
un-necessary service/repair when the conventional wisdom suggests
otherwise.
Yep....There's a lot of that sort of fraud out there.
