please help, I need a recommendation for a good, honest shop that does good work in the Falls Church, VA area. Will pay for quality work. Cars to be maintained are a VW Corrado G60 and a Porsche 944. I'm currently disassembling the Corrado due to various issues and I've gone from annoyed to angry to livid at the slipshod nature of the work done on it that the owner has paid good money for at several supposedly reputable shops. I took a quick look and couldn't find it. I didn't spend too much time because I am not a member and suspect that you need to be, is this correct? I dont know where you live, so cant really run the gamut on this for you, but if you want to tell me the state or district, I will see what I can find. That actually *is* somewhat helpful... the shop I had a good feeling about is on the list and is the only one listed that mentions specializing in German cars; none of the ones that the girlie has had bad experiences with are on that list, although results show up within the same area as those shops. About 165 miles per mapquest :( actually, come to think of it, there was a guy named Peter in Delaware that I used to buy VW parts from, and he was starting to also do some repair work out of his garage...
