hi, i am driving a 1993 buick lesabre custom. just today, my brakes
started getting wierd(power assist dont always work) and it idles real
high at about 2 minutes at a time, then goes back to normal idle. i
think it has something to do with the vacuum system, but im not sure.
please help!!

Sounds like the car is not safe to drive. Take it to a shop and have
it looked at before you get into an accident.

Based on your description I would suspect a leak in the vacuum line to
the brake booster or a failure of the brake booster itself.
