We've got a '98 Chevy Tracker 4X4 that we tow behind our RV on trips
to Baja.  We'd like to be able to also bring along a fairly light boat
by rooftopping it on the Tracker but I can't seem to find ANY
roofracks for the 2 door.  (There isn't much metal on the roof!).  Any
suggestions????  We wanted to get the Hobie trimaran and carry it on
the roof.  Appreciate any suggestions.

I don't want to try rooftopping it on the RV as hubby is disabled and
I don't think I can do it myself.

Thanks.

Sandy

The main reason is that the Tracker isn't really made to carry anything
on the roof.
However there is another way. You could buy something like this.

OR have a welding shop make you a similar item. Mount one in front (you
could bolt it to the same spot as the tow bar) and one in the rear.
