i have a 89 topaz that wont start was running fine shut it off after
work tried to start it would not start i can not hear the pump kick in
is there a relay and if so where is it located

My info says the fuel pump relay, is supposed to be behind the glove-box.

I wouldn't replace anything without doing some testing.

You might check the bump switch, first. Should be in the trunk, left rear
quarter-panel. The voltage for the coil side of the pump relay, comes
through the bump switch.

If you have an EECIV connector under the hood, you should be able to
ground the proper terminal, turn the key on, no crank, the pump should
run, this is just for testing.
