I'm looking for an auto repair manual which I can download from the
web but it has to be in MS Word format.  I've come across several
websites selling downloadable manuals but they are all in PDF format.
Does anyone know if someone sells auto repair manuals in Microsoft
Word format?

Thanks.

No particular vehicle? What would be your purpose? Just curious?
I converted a pdf to word using adobe po but it turned out awful.
There were no spaces between the words.

Mostly Ford's and GM's.  PDF's are just slow and seem cumbersom to me;
the pages load slowly whereas Word files are lightning fast.
I tried a conversion also and I had the same result, plus some words
were missing or cut off.

If the publishing industry used inkjet printers instead of press's, then
you could probably find manuals in Word format.

Something is wrong.  What application are you using to read PDF files
on what operating system?

Word is evil.  If the pdf files are loading even slower than Word, something
is very wrong.
