Awl--
I was preparing myself, with liberal applications of Preparation H, for
duplicating my Honda Fit keys.
Then I found out what the goddamm battery costs, which is little bigger than
a Harley Davidson battery--which makes sense, cuz Harley Davidson engines
are as big or bigger than the Fit engine.
$300-400!!
Goodgawd....
I don't think my local drugstore carries enough Prep H for this one.
So here's the Q:
Are there cheap Sears or other replacements for these small batteries?
If not, I'm going to measure and find the smallest standard battery I can,
and *force* it in, even if I have to weld brackets, or use a sawzall, or run
wires from the back seat.
f.ck dis.
What a sodomization, $400 for a battery.
Indeed, economic assault & battery.
And, I believe, it's just the beginning.

I bleeve it IS a motorcycle battery: a Yuasa, just like in my old bikes.
It measures 5x8, by 8" tall.
Mebbe I could just hook up about 24 D cells, in series and parallel.... :)
Iny leads on where to get stock batteries cheap, car or cycle?

I would feel the same. I would try to find a spot in the trunk, or
somewhere large enough to hold
a standard battery, and run the necessary cables.
By the way, Vince at Custom Battery Cables made me some nice ones at a
reasonable price
for my 'project'. Now, I haven't talked to him in a while, but hope he is
still well and cranking
out custom cables.
