I have a '94 Ford Explorer that the brake lights are not working. The
caution lights are running off the same fuse and these seem to work
fine. I am thinking that it is not the bulbs or the fuse. Can anybody
suggest something else for me to check or should I just break down and
take it to the shop to get it fixed. It is due for inspection this
month.
All help is greatly appreciated
have you checked the brake switch on the brake pedal?? if so you have a
wire or a fuse breaking down somewhere and most likley close to brake
lights..good luck....

Check the brake switch, somewhere near the brake pedal. If the brakes and turn signals use the same lamps the problem could be caused by the turn signal switch.
