This is an indepth subject. I doubt anybody who knows the answer to a
question like this takes any time to answer or even read stuff that
starts "help". Where are you coming from and what are you driving?

I have seen laptop interfaces which can go to your laptop and the software
which can read the error codes and help you diagnose the problem.

I think you can find them online with a search. I have no experience with
any of these and cannot recommend any of them.
