Need to replace one of the relays in a 2004 Mercury Marquis.
They seem very hard to pull out.  Is a special tool neeeded,
pry with screwdriver, or just pull harder?

If it is a relay in a fuse box, rock it back and forth while pulling
hard. If not, often there will be a lock tab to get the relay loose
from the car, and another to release the electrical connection;
typically you will use a thin, narrow screwdriver to release these
tabs.
