Winter tire left-right thread impact

For the first time in many many years, I have noticed that the thread
profile on my winter tires was reversed when looking at either the
conductor or the passenger side. I mean that on the right side the
thread pattern is pointing down while it is pointing up on the left
side. Of course this is repeated at the back of the vehicle as well.

My question: "Does this creates an imbalance condition that adversely
impacts the ABS and 4-wheel drive systems?"

Thank you,

If you have the directional tires on backward, it will affect traction
at the least, blow the tires up at the worst.

They should say on the sidewall and usually have an arrow as well.

No, rotation is not a safety issue, the tire will hold up fine rotating
the wrong way. It will, however, give you less grip in certain
conditions. Look on the sidewall, there are arrows which show the
direction of the tire. Also, IME, looking at the tire from the top, the
thread should point forward.

You're welcome,
