my motor gets to about 2,500rpm and it like cuts out and only runs
when i
dont plug in the maf if i plug it in it will shut the engin off... i
have changed the maf already...it still does the same thing. when the
car is in
the ignation postion i hear like a humming coming from the firer wall
on the intake side wat is that.. and it shots out realy black smoke
when it hits 2,500 rpm and bogs down then goes right back up but
rember when the mass air flow is not pluged in... i need to figure
this out its driving me up a wall.. anyone wit any idea's... its a
1992 nissian 240sx convertiable  it ran fine till i took it up a steap
hill and bottom it out but then i decided to take teh plate off in
side the valve cover not thinkn it will do anything to stop it from
slaping it around in there but besides that it has a intake and the
resenotor havse been cut out so it run fromt he converter to the
muffler..

type you really should let a mechanic figure out what's wrong.
