2.8l engine, auto trans., throttle body injection.
there is a wire running from the junction block on the firewall to
the starter relay with a 30 amp fuse inline. once every week this
fuse blows. the starter and engine turns but fuel line will not
pressurize when the fuse goes.  what could cause this phenomena?

either
1) your fuel pump is drawing excessive current. in which case you need
a new fuel pump.
2) or the wiring to the fuel pump is damaged and a bare wire is
touching the frame at times. this would have to be an intermittant
trouble. visually inspect the wiring for damage. tug on it to see if
you can make the fuse blow.

Don't forget about the fuel filter. If it is clogged it will make the
pump run harder and could blow the fuse.

I found the problem.  it is the positive battery cable touching
ground from the frame sometimes. thanks for your help
