im tring to remove the oil dipstick tube and it wont pull up is there a trick
to this

  Not familiar with VW but one thing you can try is to find a bolt that fits
snug inside the dipstick tube. Insert the bolt into the top of the dipstick
tube. Grab the outside of the tube with vicegrips or suitable tool and wiggle
and/ or tap dipstick tube out. The bolt just keeps the tube from being crushed
so make sure it fits snug. If the tube is broken and you are trying to get out
the remains you can cut it off flush with the block and use a hammer and punch
to drive the rest of the tube into the oil pan. It will just sit in the bottom
of the oil pan or you may be able to remove it with a magnet through the oil
drain plug hole.
